Our heart belongs to the city

We will connect with you at once

Juan Diego Gil

Born in Malaga, I studied architecture in Seville and have been working as an architect since 2001. However, my interest in travelling, as well as in art, history and culture, led me to found Voilà Málaga, my own company of guided tours in Malaga, in 2013. I felt that I had to do something with all my knowledge about the architecture, urbanism and culture of Malaga. And why not pouring all that on those who visit us?

My idea was to give the traveler what I demand when I travel. This is why my experiences are unique as well as professionals, with a very personal attention. For me it is essential to offer visits in which our visitors feel they have made the most of their visit to Malaga. I love Malaga and I love meeting people from other places. With my tours I intend that our travelers also love my city and that they feel somehow part of it.

Throughout these years I have also developed an almost obsessive interest in Picasso. I have attended numerous conferences and courses about him and I am gathering a small library about his life and work that does not stop growing. I’ve visited his works in the most important museums in the world, such as the MoMa in New York, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Picasso Museum in Barcelona, or the Picasso Museum in Paris among others.

I speak English, French and Spanish and I am an official tourist guide of the Junta de Andalucia. My commitment to quality made me receive the Tourism Quality Seal from the Ministry of Tourism. I continue my training to offer the best of me and my city, obtaining the official guide qualification in the most important museums of the city (Picasso Museum, Museo Carmen Thyssen, Museo de Malaga, etc.)
